Author dream meaning
An author whose manuscript is rejected may first doubt their work, but it will ultimately be accepted as authentic and original. Watching an anxious author points to worry over your own or someone else’s literary work.
Dream scenarios
- 1
An author dreams their manuscript is rejected
The dream suggests initial doubt, followed by the work being accepted as authentic and original.
- 2
Seeing an author anxiously perusing their work
The dream points to worry about literary work, either your own or someone else’s.
Personal symbolism
The dream explores uncertainty around creative work from two angles. For an author, rejection brings initial doubt but is followed by acceptance of the manuscript as authentic and original. Watching an author anxiously review work points to worry about writing of your own or someone else’s. Consider whether you were creating, waiting for a decision, or observing another person; that may show whose work or approval is on your mind.
Questions to reflect on
- Are you waiting for a decision about creative work?
- Whose writing or project is making you anxious?
