Damson dream meaning
A damson tree loaded with rich purple fruit suggests increased riches. Eating damsons, at any time, foretells grief, so seeing the fruit on the tree and eating it have opposite meanings.
Dream scenarios
- 1
Seeing damson trees laden with rich purple fruit and delicate foliage
This signifies that you may expect riches compared with your present estate.
- 2
Eating damsons
This forebodes grief, regardless of when it occurs.
Personal symbolism
Damsons appear in two sharply different scenes. A tree with branches loaded with rich purple fruit and delicate foliage is a fortunate image, associated with greater riches than your present means. Eating the fruit at any time, however, foretells grief. The contrast makes the action important: the fruit still on a thriving tree suggests abundance ahead, while consuming it changes the tone. Recall whether you admired the laden branches or tasted the damsons, and what the color and texture felt like. Your own associations with harvest, appetite, and having more than enough may help you connect with the scene.
Questions to reflect on
- Did you see damsons growing on a tree or eat them?
- What did the rich purple fruit and its setting make you feel?
