Lap-dog dream meaning
A lap-dog suggests that friends will support you through an approaching dilemma. If the dog is thin and ill-looking, distressing events may arise and detract from your prospects.
Dream scenarios
- 1
Seeing a lap-dog
Friends will help you through an approaching dilemma.
- 2
Thin, ill-looking lap-dog
Distressing events may detract from your prospects.
Personal symbolism
A lap-dog is small and close at hand, and here it points toward support arriving through friends when you face a dilemma. Its condition changes the outlook. A healthy or ordinary lap-dog accompanies help; one that is thin and ill-looking brings distressing occurrences that weaken your prospects. Consider whether the animal seemed cared for, lively, or neglected, and whether you felt comforted by its presence. The dream's focus may be on the quality of support around you or on events that are making a situation harder.
Questions to reflect on
- Did the dog look healthy and cared for, or thin and unwell?
- Who might be able to support you through a current dilemma?
