Prison dream meaning
A prison surrounding you or your friends points to misfortune. Seeing someone released from prison suggests that you will eventually overcome misfortune in your affairs.
Dream scenarios
- 1
A prison encircles you or your friends
This points to misfortune.
- 2
Seeing someone dismissed from prison
This denotes that you will finally overcome misfortune.
Personal symbolism
A prison can make the dream feel confined, whether you or someone close to you is inside. The first scene links that enclosure with misfortune. A release changes the direction: seeing someone dismissed from prison points toward eventually overcoming hardship. Notice who was confined, who was freed, and whether you felt trapped, concerned, or relieved. Those details may help connect the image to a difficult circumstance affecting you or people you care about.
Questions to reflect on
- Who was enclosed by the prison in the dream?
- Did the release bring relief or a sense of change?
