Shelter dream meaning

Dream scenarios

- 2
Seeking shelter
This points to being guilty of cheating and trying to justify yourself.
Personal symbolism
A shelter can represent safety, protection, and the effort to create a place where you can feel secure. The dream distinguishes between building one and seeking one: building suggests escaping others' harmful designs, while seeking shelter raises the uncomfortable issue of cheating and self-justification. Consider whether you were constructing protection for yourself or looking for refuge, and what you felt you needed to escape. The difference between those actions may connect with whether you feel under threat or are trying to defend your own conduct.
Questions to reflect on
- Were you building a refuge or looking for one?
- What did you feel you needed protection from?
- Are you trying to justify a choice you regret?
