Personal symbolism
A vote is a small act with a public consequence, so consider what you were choosing and who else was affected. The dream connects casting a vote with a commotion that reaches beyond the individual and into the community. If the vote was fraudulent, the focus shifts to a conflict between dishonesty and better judgment. Recall whether you felt involved in a collective decision, pressured to take a side, or uneasy about how the result was reached. The dream may draw attention to your sense of responsibility when personal choices have wider effects.
